Comparing a Candidate Profile with a Course or Job Profile

The Digital Profiler Questionnaire has been designed to give an indication of a candidate's digital capabilities in relation to the Australian Digital Capability Framework (ADCF). The outcome of the online questionnaire is the first step in considering the support or training needs of the candidate.

At the end of the questionnaire, a Digital Skills Profile is generated based on the candidate's responses. This incorporates:

  • Digital Skills Summary
  • ADCF Profile

This information can be exported as a pdf following the instructions in this article: Create a Digital Skills Profile Report

The candidate's profile can then be compared to a Course Profile (Digital Robot for Study System) or Job Profile (Digital Robot for Work System). This will generate a Digital Skills Comparison containing the following information:

  • Gap Analysis - a table showing any gaps between the candidates current capabilities and the course/job profile selected.
  • Skills Comparison Graph - A graph showing:
    • The candidates current knowledge or experience in areas of Digital Capability, shown as a bar graph.
    • The Digital Skills levels of the Course Profile (shown as a blue line), or Job Profile (shown as a red line).
  • Training Recommendations (Digital Robot for Study System only) - Where skills gaps have been identified, recommendations will be made for the areas and levels to assist the candidate in further developing their digital capabilities. Only areas where gaps are identified will have training recommendations.
  • Action Plan (Digital Robot for Work System only) - Where skills gaps have been identified, recommendations will be made for the areas and levels to assist the candidate in further developing their digital capabilities. Only areas where gaps are identified will be contained in the action plan.

Digital Skills Comparisons are created and accessed via the Candidate Results Table and using the functions in the Candidate Information Modal.
