Authentication and Federation Standards

Digital Robot is designed with a secure authentication framework to protect client and learner data.

• TLS 1.2+ encryption for all login and session traffic
• Salted and hashed password storage
• MFA for high-privilege accounts
• Role-based access control (RBAC)

• Session expiry and secure token handling per OWASP guidance

  Digital Robot does not currently provide out-of-the-box SSO via Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), SAML 2.0, or OpenID Connect.

  Our product roadmap includes enhanced identity integration, with SSO and SCIM provisioning planned for the updated Robot release in the second quarter of next year, enabling broader cross-platform authentication options.
